Initial Support
You will be assigned a dedicated Patient Relations Officer (PRO) who will guide you throughout your entire journey, providing any information you need and assisting with securely sharing your medical records in preparation for your initial virtual consultation.
Virtual Consultation & Evaluation
During the virtual consultation, your doctor will review your medical tests and assess the extent of your condition, outlining treatment options for your case. If a surgical solution is recommended, the doctor will provide a tailored plan for an in-person visit.

Travel to Riyadh
Medical Preparation and Travel Arrangements
Travel Support
Once you’ve been recommended for an in-person doctor visit or surgery, your dedicated PRO will assist you with all necessary support, including visa processing, hotel recommendations, medical document preparation, and coordinating transfers.
Arrival & Evaluation
Upon arrival, the doctor will perform a physical examination for a final evaluation of your condition. This includes any pre-surgery medical requirements, such as blood work, an ECG, an X-ray, and an anesthesia evaluation, to ensure you're cleared for surgery. Your dedicated PRO will guide you through this process.
Clearance & Scheduling
Once cleared, your surgery can be scheduled within 1-2 days at one of our partner hospitals, with detailed instructions provided for the surgery day.

Surgery Day
The Day of Your Surgery
Pre-Op Preparations
Upon arrival at the surgical facility, your PRO will ensure a smooth check-in and assist you with final pre-op preparations. You’ll meet the surgical team, have an IV line placed for fluids and medication, and be prepped for surgery.
The Surgery
You’ll then be taken to the operating room, where anesthesia will be administered. Your doctor will perform the orthopedic surgery using the planned approach, while being closely monitored by the surgical and anesthesia team throughout the procedure.
Post-Op Care
After surgery, you'll be moved to a recovery room, where the nursing team will monitor you and ensure your comfort. Your doctor will visit to assess your progress, evaluate your mobility, and determine when you're ready for discharge.

Nursing Care
At Aid Medical, we provide nursing visits at your accommodation as part of our comprehensive recovery package. During these visits, your dressings will be changed, and your vital signs will be monitored to ensure a smooth and effective recovery process
Physical Therapy
Your doctor will collaborate with our partner physiotherapy clinic to create your rehabilitation plan, which will be provided either at your accommodation or at the clinic, depending on your case.
Post-Op Evaluation
You will need to remain in Saudi Arabia for two weeks after your surgery for a final follow up appointment with your doctor to assess your healing progress. After this evaluation, you will receive discharge approval to travel, along with detailed care instructions for your recovery at home.

Final Steps
Once cleared, your PRO will support you with any travel arrangements needed, including any necessary medical documentation and recovery plans to take with you.
Follow-up & Support
You can continue to receive support and share updates with your Patient Relations Officer even after you return home.
